3D Design and Printing Intermediate: World Famous Architectures

Get ready to travel the world—without leaving the classroom! In the exciting World Famous Architectures 5-day camp, students with basic 3D design experience will embark on a journey through history and architecture. Using Tinkercad, students will explore the secrets behind some of the world’s most famous landmarks as they create their own 3D models of iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Great Wall of China, the Parthenon, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and more! Campers will also use skills they learned from these projects to design their own amazing architectures!

Target Students:

Students with some fundamental 3D design experience (e.g., a prior beginner-level 3D camp or basic familiarity with Tinkercad). Learners interested in architecture, art history, and creative problem-solving. Ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of design techniques and explore new ways to express their creativity

Learning Outcome:

Students will develop an understanding of different architectural styles, techniques, and their historical significance. As they refine their 3D modeling skills, they will also gain hands-on experience with CAD software and 3D printing workflows. The camp encourages problem-solving and critical thinking as students tackle design challenges and explore their creativity through personal projects.
