Competitive Tournament Robotics Fundamentals with VEX V5 (Current Grades 6-11)
Students will be given a deep dive into robotics systems such as structural design, weight distribution, drivetrains, fastening, the relationship between speed and torque, and alternate methods of transferring motion such as linear slides and belts and pulleys. This curriculum familiarizes students with the foundational skills needed to understand how components come together and different use cases for creating motion. Students will learn to program each area as well. We will help you to start your robotics journey and get ready for the tournament!

PROGRAM DETAILS:
Whether you’re new to the world of robotics or looking to take your programming skills to the next level, this program has it all. Students will use the VEX Robotics Kit to build, test and program their own robot, maneuvering it through challenges and obstacle courses. This course will systematically prepare fundamental robotics skills for annual competitions. Students will build their skill set in physics, coding and the engineering design process. No VEX Robotics experience is required for students.

WHY BLAZE?
We establish the pathway to students’ Robotics Journey from Zero to Hero. After the class, they can start the Competition Season by joining a competition team once team formation begins.

Blaze Robotics is a VEX Official Event Partner that hosts REC Foundation VEX IQ Competitions (VIQC) and VEX V5 Robotics Competitions (VRC)
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:
Cancellation requests must be received at least 1 month prior to the class start date. A 3% transaction fee will be retained per class session. We cannot issue refunds if the cancellation occurs within one month of the start date. If your student cannot attend a class due to illness or an emergency, please speak with our staff about transferring to a different session date. If Blaze Robotics Academy cancels a class, you’ll receive a full refund of fees paid for that Class.
